HOURS

Weekday operations comply with local regulations as outlined in our permit. We run until 10:00 p.m. PT. Typical production activity happens during daylight hours, with occasional night shipments and maintenance as needed.

DUST CONTROL

Dust management runs continuously during operational hours as outlined in our permit: water sprays at conveyor transfer points (inspected regularly), stockpiles watered by truck, treatments on unpaved surfaces, paved high-traffic areas, a wheel wash that stops track-out onto public roads, and a full-time street sweeper covering the north side from the quarry entrance to 7198 Mission Gorge Rd. three times daily during operations — all with written logs.

NOISE

Noise maintenance is active and working: back-up alarms have been converted to broadband "quacker" alarms, which are effective for safety while far less piercing at a distance. We maintain compliance with local noise ordinances and have had no violations since the site became part of Vulcan Materials Company.

LIGHTING

Task lighting is directed downward and onto the ground, limiting light spill beyond the facility.

WATER & RECLAMATION

We operate under a reclamation plan approved by the City of San Diego and will submit updated, more precise plans as subareas approach final reclamation, consistent with SMARA.
